Baseball Recap: Tri-Central Takes a Loss

Tri-Central scored first but ultimately less than Greenwood Christian Academy in their contest on Saturday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 19-6. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jacob Cline made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with five RBI and one triple. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

Tri-Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Greenwood Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

Tri-Central has already played their next match, a 7-3 win against Elwood on the 10th. As for Greenwood Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-0 victory against Whitko on the 10th.
