Volleyball Recap: Ferris Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Ferris lost against Shadle Park back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Saxons fell just short of the Highlanders by a score of 3-2.

Ferris actually scored more points across those five sets (119-117), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 19-25, 25-23, 27-25, 23-21.

Ferris' loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Shadle Park, they pushed their record up to 2-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ferris is set to challenge their familiar foe Cheney at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give the Saxons their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, Shadle Park will take on rival University at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will also be the Highlanders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
