Volleyball Recap: Valor Academy Comes Up Short

Valor Academy was the 3-0 winner over Magnolia Science Academy Reseda when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Valor Academy fell 3-1 to Magnolia Science Academy Reseda on Thursday.

Valor Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-17, 25-17, 26-24.

Valor Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Magnolia Science Academy Reseda, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Valor Academy will head out to challenge Lake Balboa College Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Valor Academy is facing Lake Balboa College Prep at the right time seeing as Lake Balboa College Prep is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Magnolia Science Academy Reseda, they will face off against Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
