Borah can  bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Friday. They blew past the Ridgevue Warhawks 26-14. The Lions' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Josie Gregory made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run over 6.2 innings pitched. Gregory was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of her six plate appearances with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run. That's the most  RBI  she has posted  over her last nine  contests.
 In other batting news,  Reese Naylor and  Anna Hedt did most of the damage at the plate:  Naylor  went 4-for-6 with six  RBI, three  runs,  and two  doubles, while  Hedt  went 4-for-5 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and one  double. Those  five  RBI gave  Hedt a new career-high.  Maggie McMullen was another key player,  going 3-for-5 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.
 Borah  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 17  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least nine  hits in four consecutive  games.
Borah picked up their first road  victory, bumping their record up to 4-16. As for Ridgevue, their defeat was  their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-16.
 Looking ahead, Borah will face off against Owyhee at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Storm will roll in looking for their  19th straight  win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ridgevue, they are taking a road trip to  take on Timberline  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Wolves' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6  runs per game  this season, so the Warhawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
