Basketball Recap: Ponderosa Victorious

Ponderosa won the last time they faced Vista del Lago, and Angel Flores did his part to make sure it happened again. The Ponderosa Bruins managed a 65-61 win over the Vista del Lago Eagles on Wednesday thanks to Flores, who went 7-for-13 en route to 21 points and three steals. He has become a key player for Ponderosa: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three steals, but 4-20 otherwise.

The team also got some help courtesy of Travis Bays, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 15 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.
