Basketball Recap: Carson Comes Up Short

Carson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Bishop Manogue Miners and fell 88-39. The Senators were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-21.

Bishop Manogue's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Veo Dizon led the charge by going 5 of 6 en route to 12 points and three steals. That's the most steals Dizon has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Rowe, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 13 points in addition to eight boards and five assists.

Carson's loss dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Bishop Manogue, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-10.

Carson will welcome Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Douglas is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.5 points per game this season. Bishop Manogue does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
