Basketball Recap: Glenmora Comes Up Short

Glenmora was the 56-55 winner over Reeves when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Glenmora Wildcats fell just short of the Reeves Raiders by a score of 74-72 on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (57), the Wildcats still had to take the loss.

It was another big night for Carter Guillory, who went 8 of 16 on his way to 23 points and seven rebounds for Reeves. The game was Guillory's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jaden Cormier, who went 5 for 8 en route to 11 points and seven boards.

This is the second loss in a row for Glenmora and nudges their season record down to 13-14. As for Reeves, their win bumped their record up to 16-10.

Glenmora has already played their next matchup (against Monterey), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Reeves wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 98-23 victory against V.B. Glencoe Charter on the 16th.
