Football Recap: Rice Memorial Comes Up Short on the Road Against Lyndon Institute

Rice Memorial had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 23-0 to the Lyndon Institute Vikings on Saturday. The Green Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Rice Memorial wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 58-6 win against Missisquoi Valley on the 13th. As for Lyndon Institute, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-13 victory against Fair Haven on the 13th.
