Volleyball Recap: Shasta Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shasta can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Foothill Cougars on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat two weeks ago.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Foothill scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 23-25, 25-18, 25-23.

Shasta's loss dropped their record down to 21-11. As for Foothill, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-11.

Shasta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Foothill, they will square off against Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
