Basketball Recap: Ridgeview College Prep Takes a Loss

If Ridgeview College Prep was riding high fresh off their 75-54 takedown of Imagine Prep Coolidge two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Ridgeview College Prep Lions took a 71-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ridgeline Academy Eagles. The loss was the Lions' first of the season.

Ridgeview College Prep's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Ridgeline Academy, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Ridgeview College Prep will host El Dorado at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ridgeview College Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully El Dorado likes a good challenge. As for Ridgeline Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Gila Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
