Volleyball Game Preview: Costa Mesa Mustangs vs. Garden Grove Argonauts

The Costa Mesa Mustangs will square off against the Garden Grove Argonauts at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Last Thursday, Costa Mesa got the win against Laguna Hills by a conclusive 3-0.

Costa Mesa was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-20, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Garden Grove made easy work of Segerstrom last Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Argonauts have posted against the Jaguars since April 29, 2021.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-20.

Costa Mesa's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Garden Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.

Costa Mesa beat Garden Grove 3-1 in their previous matchup on March 4th. Will Costa Mesa repeat their success, or does Garden Grove has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
