Baseball Recap: Ridge Community Find Success

Ridge Community's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Fort Meade Miners 6-4. This was payback for the Bolts, who suffered a 6-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Edriel Torres tossed a big game, pitching six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Gean Colina, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI. Ridge Community is undefeated when Colina posts three or more hits, but 4-13 otherwise. Edger Olmeda was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
