It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Argyle had no problem doing just that on Friday. They never let the Lovejoy Leopards get on the board and left with a 56-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Maguire Gasperson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 308 yards and four touchdowns while completing 82.4% of his passes, and also punching in one TD on the ground. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (162.4). Another player making a difference was Julian Caldwell, who picked up 158 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Argyle proved: they limited Lovejoy to a paltry three yards per carry. The team can thank Grayson Peschel for the heroic effort on defense: he. Argyle hasn't allowed more than 4.7 yards per carry in four consecutive contests.

Argyle's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks.
