Softball Recap: Rosamond Roadrunners vs. Bishop Union Broncos        
        
		
            
 Rosamond was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight  loss. They lost  17-2 to the Bishop Union Broncos. Having soared to a lofty ten  runs in the game before, Rosamond couldn't push the score so high this time.
  Alexis Rico made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole four bases while going 1-for-2.
 On Bishop Union's side,  Baileigh Momberg made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Momberg has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances. Momberg was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Ginger Lowden was a standout: she scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.  Cambria Lanphear was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
 Rosamond's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Bishop Union, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last ten games,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rosamond will take on Boron at 3:15  p.m.  on Friday. Rosamond is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9  runs per game  this season.
