Softball Recap: New Hope Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

While New Hope's victory against West Point wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The New Hope Trojans narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the West Point Green Wave 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trojans have posted since April 12, 2024.

Kaselyn Harcrow made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.8 strikeouts per game. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one triple and two RBI.

Harcrow wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jeoreia Henry, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

New Hope pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 7.2 runs. As for West Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
