Basketball Recap: Hill School Piles Up the Points Against Life Center Academy

Hill School waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Life Center Academy Warriors 77-49. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked seventh in Pennsylvania, while the Warriors are ranked 345th in New Jersey), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Life Center Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Joel Kabugi, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. Kabugi is becoming a predictor of Life Center Academy's success: when he posts at least ten rebounds the team is 2-1 (and 9-15 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Rasheem Yon, who posted 12 points and five boards.

Hill School's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Life Center Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-16 record this season.
