The Evergreen Valley Cougars will challenge the Mt. Pleasant Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Evergreen Valley will be strutting in after a win while Mt. Pleasant will be coming in after a defeat.

Evergreen Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat James Lick 40-0. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Comets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Mt. Pleasant and Prospect meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Cardinals were dealt a 44-7 loss at the hands of the Panthers.

Evergreen Valley picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Mt. Pleasant, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
