There's no place like home for Chatham Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the South Davidson Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won six in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chatham Central took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15, 25-9.

Addison Goldston paced Chatham Central's offense, picking up ten kills. Goldston got some help from Lizzy Murray and her 11 assists. Goldston was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Chatham Central's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for South Davidson, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-10.
