Volleyball Game Preview: Kerman Lions vs. Exeter Monarchs

The Kerman Lions will head out on the road to square off against the Exeter Monarchs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kerman is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

On Tuesday, it was close, but Kerman sidestepped Hanford West for a 3-2 victory.

Kerman got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The final score came out to 25-22, 30-32, 18-25, 25-11, 16-14.

Meanwhile, Exeter made easy work of Selma on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

While Exeter won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 27-25.

Kerman's record is now 25-8. As for Exeter, their record now sits at 9-22.

Kerman came out on top in a nail-biter against Exeter in their previous matchup on October 2nd, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
