Basketball Recap: Quitman Takes a Loss

The Quitman Panthers came up short against the West Harrison Hurricanes on Saturday and fell 45-36. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Quitman saw an underclassman step up: freshman SARIAH BINGHAM dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten boards.

This is the second loss in a row for Quitman and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for West Harrison, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Quitman has already played their next matchup, a 50-29 victory against South Jones on the 24th. As for West Harrison, they will take on Picayune at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
