Basketball Recap: Carteret Takes a Loss

Carteret lost against Piscataway back in February of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Carteret Ramblers had to suffer through a 86-49 loss at the hands of the Piscataway Chiefs. While losing is never fun, the Ramblers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 351st, while the Chiefs are ranked 47th).

Carteret dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Piscataway, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.

Carteret will be playing in front of their home fans against Sayreville at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. Piscataway has already played their next matchup (against Old Bridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
