The Chandler Prep Titans will head out to  square off against the San Tan Charter Roadrunners  at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Chandler Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.3  runs per game  this season.
Chandler Prep had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 16-run drubbing they dealt Arete Prep on Tuesday. The Titans' pitchers stepped up to hand the CHARGERS  a   16-0 shutout. That 16 run margin sets a new team best for the Titans this season.
 Henry Allen was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and only one walk). That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-2.

 In other batting news,  Isaac Swanson was  incredible,  scoring four  runs while going 4-for-4. Those  four  hits gave  him a new career-high.  Christian Walker also deserves some recognition as  he  got his first  hit of the season.
 Chandler Prep  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .719. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, San Tan Charter waltzed into their contest  on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single  run of losing the streak, but they secured  a   4-3 W against the Griffins. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Roadrunners have posted  since March 1st.
 The team  relied heavily on  Joe Markland, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Tommy Crupi, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 Chandler Prep's victory was  their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 7-3. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for San Tan Charter, their record is now 10-1.
Thursday's   matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Chandler Prep has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .444. However, it's not like San Tan Charter struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .535. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Chandler Prep suffered a grim  19-5 defeat to San Tan Charter  when the teams last played  back in April of 2022. Can the Titans avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
