Recap: Decatur Bulldogs vs. Ware County Gators
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Decatur Bulldogs, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a serious blow against Ware County on Friday, falling 49-0. Decatur's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ware County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dae'jeaun Dennis, who rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. Ware County also got help from Quintin Orange jr who showed off his sure hands for 89 receiving yards.
Decatur now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Ware County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Decatur does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ware County will take on Warner Robins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Warner Robins has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 177 points over their last four games.
