Recap: Block Island vs. Juanita Sanchez Complex Cavaliers
Block Island had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were beaten by Juanita Sanchez Complex 81-20 on Friday.
It was another big night for Kyle Delves, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds for Juanita Sanchez Complex. The matchup was Delves' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Taurean Williams, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and six assists.
Block Island's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Juanita Sanchez Complex, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Block Island will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Patrick Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. As for Juanita Sanchez Complex, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Achievement First Providence at 2:00 p.m. on December 30th.
