Brentwood Christian picks up sixth straight win on the road

Recap: Brentwood Christian vs. Concordia

The Brentwood Christian Bears stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand Concordia a 4-0 shutout. Brentwood Christian's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last 12 games.

They hit Concordia with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ryder Shelton-Lamb, Jacob Valladares, Gino Burk, and Laine Pitman.

Brentwood Christian pushed their record up to 13-1-1 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those six games. As for Concordia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2-1.

Brentwood Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Hill Country Christian School of Austin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brentwood Christian's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Hill Country Christian School of Austin's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Concordia, they will head out on the road to face off against San Juan Diego Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
