Softball Recap: Deer Park Stags vs. Pullman Greyhounds
Deer Park barely beat Pullman the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Stags beat the Greyhounds on Tuesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 12-2. The Stags haven't had any issues with the Greyhounds recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Hailey Thompson made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.
