The Legacy Longhorns will face off against the Durango Trailblazers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Legacy will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
Legacy is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Cimarron-Memorial 22-12 on Thursday. The Longhorns might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Rylee Madden and Sofia Nazario did most of the damage at the plate: Madden went 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs, while Nazario got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. Those four runs gave Nazario a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Victoria Beebe, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, Durango came up short against Clark on Thursday and fell 9-5.
Alexia Carey was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she pitched 5.2 innings while giving up three earned (and six unearned) runs off three hits. Carey was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one triple.
In other batting news, Leiah Biscocho was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Peyton McCullough was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Legacy's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.6 runs over those games. As for Durango, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Wednesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Legacy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .502. However, it's not like Durango struggles in that department as they've averaged .575. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Legacy's way against Durango in their previous meeting on April 3rd, as Legacy made off with a 16-3 victory. Do the Longhorns have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trailblazers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
