Sullivan hasn't had much luck against Argenta-Oreana recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Redskins will challenge the Bombers at 4:30 p.m. Sullivan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

Things were looking good for Sullivan after they put the first runs on the board on Wednesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Meridian by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Redskins have suffered since May 11, 2024.

J'Nai Webb was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Argenta-Oreana didn't have quite enough to beat Heyworth on Tuesday and fell 11-9.

Kharma Giles made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Emmy Reynolds, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-5.

Argenta-Oreana's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Sullivan, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 10-7.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Thursday. Sullivan hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.4 home runs per game. However, it's not like Argenta-Oreana struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.

Sullivan might still be hurting after the 11-0 defeat they got from Argenta-Oreana when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Redskins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
