Baseball Recap: Prince Edward County Eagles vs. Amelia County Raiders
Prince Edward County made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Amelia County, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 8-6 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 back in April.
Kamron Ligon made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Prince Edward County is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9. As for Amelia County, they moved to 3-6 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.
