Basketball Recap: Kingston Has No Trouble Against Saugerties

Kingston won the last time they faced Saugerties and things went their way on Monday too. Everything went the Kingston Tigers' way against the Saugerties Sawyers as the Kingston Tigers made off with a 53-33 win. The matchup marked the Tigers' most dominant victory of the season.

Paige Vines and Celina Vail certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Vines posted six points and three blocks, while Vail earned six points in addition to nine rebounds and four steals. Those three blocks gave Vines a new career-high.

Kingston's win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Saugerties, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Kingston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Saugerties, they are taking a road trip to square off against Beacon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Beacon will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Saugerties surely won't give up without a fight.
