Basketball Recap: Dunseith Comes Up Short

Dunseith was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the New Town Eagles and fell 69-34. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Dunseith's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for New Town, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dunseith will challenge South Prairie/Max at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. South Prairie/Max will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something Dunseith surely won't give up without a fight. New Town has already played their next game (against Rugby), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
