Basketball Recap: Veritas Prep Takes a Loss

After soaring to 66 points the game before, Veritas Prep was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They took a hard 46-27 fall against the Fountain Hills Falcons. The matchup marked Veritas Prep's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Veritas Prep's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Fountain Hills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Veritas Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cicero Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Fountain Hills, they will be home for the holidays to greet Highland Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
