Football Recap: Rock Canyon Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Rock Canyon, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 26-12 win over the Horizon Hawks on Tuesday. The score was all tied up 6-6 at the break, but the Jaguars were the (much) better team in the second half.

Rock Canyon's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB five times. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Addison Mimiaga.

Although Horizon took the loss, they still got scores from Shea Padilla and Genia Harris.

The victory got Rock Canyon back to even at 1-1. As for Horizon, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Rock Canyon has already played their next game, a 29-0 win against Eaglecrest on the 27th. As for Horizon, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-12 defeat against Pomona on the 30th.
