Tokay won the last time they faced Chavez and things went their way on Saturday too. The Tigers blew past the Titans 19-2. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Zack Sanchez and Brock Sell did most of the damage at the plate: Sanchez went 4-for-5 with two triples, three runs, and three RBI, while Sell scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those four hits gave Sanchez a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Myles Apalit, who scored three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
Tokay always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .714. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Tokay's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Chavez, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

As for Chavez, they will face off against Franklin at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Titans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
