Dunsmuir's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Big Valley Cardinals 3-2. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Dunsmuir was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (101-98), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 15-25, 18-25, 25-20, 15-9.

Dunsmuir's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Big Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
