Soccer Recap: St. Edward Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last four times St. Edward and Aurora Central Catholic had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Green Wave came up short against the Chargers on Monday, falling 4-0. St. Edward have struggled against Aurora Central Catholic recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

St. Edward's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Aurora Central Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-1 record this season.

St. Edward didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 7-1 victory against Chicago Christian on the 6th. As for Aurora Central Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Illinois Math & Science Academy on the 6th.
