Pearland put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Pasadena Memorial Mavericks 48-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Oilers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Mavericks are ranked 584th).
Leading Pearland to victory were Ja'Maurey Champion and Royce Swan. Champion rushed for 109 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, while Swan rushed for 81 yards and three scores on only ten carries.
