Chilhowie put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Marion Scarlet Hurricanes. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 20-4 last Friday.

Chilhowie's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Marion, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chilhowie will venture away from home to challenge Fort Chiswell at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Chilhowie's pitchers better be ready for this one: Fort Chiswell has averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Marion, they will challenge Rural Retreat at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Rural Retreat's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Marion's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
