Football Recap: Dwyer Comes Up Short

Dwyer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a hard 19-0 fall against the Vero Beach Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 12-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Dwyer's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Vero Beach, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-5.

Dwyer has already played their next match, a 25-0 defeat against Central on the 2nd. As for Vero Beach, they will take on Melbourne at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Indians 9.6, the Bulldogs 11.3) so any points scored will be well earned.
