Volleyball Recap: Gregory-Portland Wildcats vs. New Braunfels Unicorns
After flying high against Corpus Christi Moody on Tuesday, Gregory-Portland came back down to earth. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Braunfels Unicorns on Thursday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Unicorns recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
New Braunfels can attribute much of their success to Hayden Jeffers, who had 14 digs and three assists. That's the most assists Jeffers has posted over her last seven matches.
Gregory-Portland's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for New Braunfels, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.
