Stratford had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They strolled past the Strother Yellowjackets with points to spare, taking the game 52-33. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 262nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Stratford is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.9 points per game. As for Strother, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

Stratford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 50-47 defeat against Stringtown on the 25th. Strother has also already played their next contest, a 50-26 loss against Stonewall on the 25th.
