Soccer Game Preview: Americas vs. Hanks

The Americas Trail Blazers will take on the Hanks Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Americas knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Hanks likes a good challenge.

Americas' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Parkland with a sharp 8-0 win. The Trail Blazers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by four goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Hanks' game on Saturday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of El Dorado by a score of 2-1. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Americas is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 57 goals over those ten contests. Hanks' loss dropped their record down to 11-11-1.

Americas beat Hanks 3-1 in their previous meeting back in February. Will Americas repeat their success, or does Hanks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
