Softball Game Preview: Baker Buffaloes vs. Episcopal Knights

The Baker Buffaloes are taking a road trip to take on the Episcopal Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Baker put up the most runs they have all season on Thursday. They blew past Broadmoor 39-21. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last eight times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Episcopal got the win against False River on Tuesday by a conclusive 21-15. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

With the victory, Baker broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-8. As for Episcopal, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Baker might still be hurting after the 15-0 loss they got from Episcopal in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can the Buffaloes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
