Volleyball Recap: Sand Rock Comes Up Short

Sand Rock's tournament run continued when they took on Armuchee on Saturday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians.

Sand Rock now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Armuchee, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

Looking ahead, Sand Rock will face off against Pleasant Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Armuchee, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Northwest Whitfield on the 23rd.
