Softball Recap: Christian Heritage Academy's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Christian Heritage Academy can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with an 11-7 win over Varsity Opponent. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against Varsity Opponent back in April, they had to take a 19-10 loss.

Shawnna Young was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That double was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Arrington, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Christian Heritage Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Christian Heritage Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Varsity Opponent, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-1 defeat against Fairfax HomeSchool on the 9th.
