Basketball Recap: Jefferson Raiders vs. Foster Bulldogs
Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Foster Bulldogs and fell 113-37. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 353rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 113th).

Jefferson's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Khamari Johnson, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Johnson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ikaika Frank, who posted seven points and six boards.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Foster to victory, but perhaps none more so than Myjeer Rigney, who went 9 of 17 en route to 24 points and four steals. Rigney continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah White, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine assists.
Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Foster, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4.
Jefferson has already played their next game, an 80-59 defeat against Auburn Mountainview on the 14th. As for Foster, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 79-76 win against Inglemoor on the 14th.
