The Central Cabarrus Vikings will take on the Olympic Trojans in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Cabarrus is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.

Central Cabarrus is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took an 82-76 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cannon on Saturday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (58), the Vikings still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Olympic posted their closest victory since February 18th on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Cox Mill, sneaking past 75-72.

Central Cabarrus better keep an eye on Jaden Hardnett. He was instrumental in Olympic's win, putting up 23 points. The game was Hardnett's eighth in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Dallas Smiley, who posted 13 points.

Olympic's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Central Cabarrus, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
