Williams waltzed into their match on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They claimed a resounding 54-16 victory over the Southern Alamance Patriots. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Williams to victory were Ry'Leigh Surles and Madison Harris. Surles went 6 of 13 on her way to 15 points and four steals, while Harris posted 11 points. Harris continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Malia Scott, who put up six points and six rebounds.

Williams pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points per game. As for Southern Alamance, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Williams will take on Asheboro in a tournament on Thursday. Williams is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.2 points per game this season. As for Southern Alamance, they will be taking part in a tournament against Southern School of Energy and Sustainability at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. Southern School of Energy and Sustainability also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 52.8 points per game.
