Baseball Recap: Beal City Continues Road Dominance on Monday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Okemos, Beal City was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Shepherd Bluejays by a score of 8-3. That's more bragging rights for the Aggies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Beal City pushed their record up to 1-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Shepherd, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Looking ahead, Beal City will head out to take on Marion at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Shepherd will be paying especially close attention to the Aggies' game: after the Aggies faces off against the Eagles, they'll take on Shepherd again at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
