Soccer Recap: Whitehall-Yearling Comes Up Short

Whitehall-Yearling lost against Worthington Christian back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rams came up short against the Warriors, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Whitehall-Yearling can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 434th, while Worthington Christian are ranked 48th).

Whitehall-Yearling has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6-1 record this season. As for Worthington Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitehall-Yearling will venture away from home to challenge Buckeye Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Worthington Christian, they will face off against Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
